Using Matchday

Matchday is a football manager game where you manage a fictional club, squad, tactics, matches, transfers, youth development, and club economy. You may use Matchday only for lawful, personal entertainment purposes and in accordance with these Terms, the App Store or platform rules that apply to your device, and any in-game rules or instructions we provide.

Eligibility

You may use Matchday only if you are legally allowed to enter into these Terms or have consent from a parent or legal guardian where required. Matchday is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law to use online services without parental consent.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for your account, credentials, and activity. Keep your login information private and contact support@hrmis.dk if you suspect unauthorized access. We may require accurate account information to provide support, recover access, enforce these Terms, or protect the service.

Fictional and generated content

Matchday uses fictional leagues, clubs, players, match events, generated club assets, logos, and game-world data. Any resemblance to real persons, clubs, brands, logos, competitions, or events is unintended unless clearly identified as licensed or official content.

Generated content may vary and may be adjusted, regenerated, moderated, or removed to protect users, avoid confusion with real-world rights, maintain product quality, or comply with legal obligations. You may not use Matchday-generated assets outside the service in a way that implies ownership, endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.

Your content and feedback

If you submit names, messages, support content, feedback, bug reports, ideas, or other materials to Matchday, you confirm that you have the right to provide them. You grant us the rights needed to host, display, process, moderate, and use that content to operate, protect, support, and improve Matchday. Feedback may be used without obligation to compensate you.

Fair use

Do not use Matchday in a way that harms the game, infrastructure, other users, or fair competition. In particular, you must not:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate results, or abuse game systems.
• Automate abusive requests, scrape at scale, overload endpoints, or bypass rate limits.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, APIs, or private infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer private systems except where law gives you a non-waivable right to do so.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, deceive, or upload unlawful, infringing, hateful, or abusive content.
• Sell, transfer, sublicense, or commercially exploit accounts, generated assets, or game access without permission.

Game balance, simulations, and corrections

Matchday is a live game and will evolve. We may add, change, rebalance, suspend, or remove features, rules, rewards, transfers, contracts, match systems, economy values, AI behavior, notifications, or other game mechanics. Game simulations, scheduled events, league tables, fixtures, results, finances, and assets may be delayed, adjusted, replayed, regenerated, or corrected when necessary to fix bugs, maintain fair play, restore integrity, or protect the service.

Purchases and paid features

If Matchday offers paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, the price, billing period, renewal terms, and included features will be shown before purchase. Transactions may be handled by the relevant app store and may also be subject to that store's terms, payment rules, refund rules, and account settings. Unless required by law or app store policy, purchases are not guaranteed to be refundable.

Availability

We aim to keep Matchday reliable, but availability is not guaranteed. The service may be interrupted by maintenance, updates, network issues, security incidents, platform requirements, third-party outages, operational limits, or other reasons. We may suspend or limit access to protect the service or users.

Intellectual property

Matchday, including its software, design, systems, game rules, text, generated game-world assets, logos, interface, and service content, is owned by the operators of Matchday or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Matchday for gameplay. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use Matchday. By using Matchday, you acknowledge that we process information as described there.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Matchday at any time, and you can delete your account from Settings in the app. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, reset progress, or restrict features if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, harm other users, abuse the service, or if continued operation is no longer practical. Termination may result in loss of account access, club data, progress, generated assets, and game history.

Disclaimers

Matchday is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free gameplay, specific match outcomes, data preservation, compatibility, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Matchday and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of progress, data, profits, goodwill, opportunities, or business arising from use of the service. Our total liability for claims relating to Matchday will be limited to the amount you paid to use Matchday in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50 if you paid nothing, unless applicable law requires a higher amount.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, except where mandatory local consumer protection law gives you additional rights. Courts and authorities with jurisdiction under applicable law may handle disputes relating to Matchday.

Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the game and service change. The effective date will show the latest version. For material changes, we may provide notice in the app or on the website. Continuing to use Matchday after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
